Wisdom Teeth
Getting your wisdom teeth out doesn't have to be a bad experience. I would know, because i had all four taking out over my Christmas break. To this day i am doing fine and where i had them pulled out is healing very nicely. On the 29th of December of 2008 I had my wisdom teeth taking out. Now I thought going in to take my wisdom teeth out was going to hurt afterwards, come to find out I didn't have any pain. The only thing I had to watch for afterwards was losing my blood clot. This was important because if i was to lose my blood clot i would then have to get treated for a dry socket which is not fun. A dry socket is a very painful infection. When i came out of surgery i was glad to see my parents but i would have liked to have seen my little brother and sister there as well, they were not able to make it. The Doctor then prescribed to me Hydrocodone/Acet which is a generic for vicoden but i did not have to take on of those pills at all. The numbing after the surgery does help too with the pain. He also gave me medicine for the swelling of my face. To my surprise though i didn't have to much swelling afterwards, but this is just me I don't know about anybody else. The exciting part of this experience was how much ice cream and yogurt i got to eat. I enjoyed getting my teeth out because now i am able to fix my bite that when the wisdom teeth came in ruined. This whole experience took place down in longmont in Dr. Dan Johnson's office. This was a pleasurable experience because i didn't experience pain after my surgery. So i do highly recommend this Doctor to anybody thinking about getting their wisdom teeth out. This Doctor did a really good job and i am pleased with his work and the experience i had getting my wisdom teeth out. I'm sure someone else can say the same if they went to him.

Brandon: I felt like you weren;t really taking this assignment seriously. Not only was it late, but it wasn't proofread. You really need to make sure that you do what is said in the assignment. If I was your professor I may not have even given you a grade for this paper.

Brandon- I related to the experience you were talking about in you paper. I to have had my wisdom teeth taken out. I noticed that you didn't proof read you paper, there were several very noticeable errors. I bet if you just even spell checked it that it would help a bunch. I liked that you writing wasn't negative even though this experience could have been.
ReplyDeleteI think you did a good job on giving all the facts and details. You could improve your writing skills by proofreading your paper and maybe by picking a more interesting topic. It was hard to focous on what you were writing about. I am glad that you didnt have any pain afterwards beacuse i sure did when i had mine taken out. I liked how you recomended your doc, i bet he would like to know that you put him in your paper:) It was very clear that you had no pain since your didnt have to take any pain killers. How long did your face stay swollen?
ReplyDeleteI noticed that you gave alot of details about the day you got you wisdom teeth pulled. The thing that stood out the most to me is that you like your family being there with you when you get something done. I liked how you made a negative event into a possitive one. How long have you been doing to that dentist?
